Activist seeks trial of Israeli soldiers

Avery wants the Israeli soldiers who shot him brought to trial

Nearly two years after being shot in the face by Israeli occupation soldiers, American peace activist Brian Avery has returned to Israel to seek justice.

Avery, 26, plans to petition the Israeli High Court of Justice on Monday to launch an investigation into the shooting which left his face horribly disfigured.He is also seeking financial compensation for his extensive medical treatment.  On 5 April 2003, Avery was visiting the West Bank town of Jenin to meet with colleagues when two Israeli military vehicles fitted with mounted machine guns approached them. Avery, who was wearing a fluorescent vest marked with the Arabic, Hebrew and English word for 'doctor', raised his arms in the air. A few seconds later a bullet ripped through his face, shattering his nasal bones, left eye, the whole left cheek area, and the upper and lower jaws.  Shot in the face."The vehicle drove up to about 30 metres to where we were, [then] they just opened fire and I was shot through the face and knocked to the ground.  [They] fired a large number of rounds, and when they finished shooting they just drove off," Avery told Aljazeera.net in a phone conversation from Tel Aviv.

An initial Israeli internal command inquiry following the incident exonerated the soldiers in question of any wrongdoing, claiming that it was Palestinian fire that hit Brian. Five witnesses, however, disputed the Israeli account of events.The investigation did not seek the testimony of any of the witnesses, nor of any Palestinians, according to Avery's Israeli lawyer, Michael Sfard.

Avery plans to use the written testimony of at least five witnesses who say the shooting occurred when the soldiers were not in danger and could clearly identify Avery and his colleagues as unarmed volunteers.The witnesses also said there was no gun battle at the time and therefore no crossfire, as claimed by the Israeli army.  

Avery never received an apology for the incident, and no police investigation was carried out.Tank opens fire.Lasse Shmidt, 36, a Danish citizen who currently teaches English at the American University in Jenin, was standing next to Brian at the time of the shooting."I know that is not true [that it was a Palestinian bullet]. I was standing right next to him and was the first to examine his destroyed face, as he was face down on the street. The only shots came from the Israeli machine gun, and we six internationals were the only people nearby," he said.

Only six days after Avery was shot and injured, British International Solidarity Movement (ISM) activist, Tom Hurndall, was killed by an Israeli sniper in Rafah.  The internal command inquiry ruled that Tom was shot because of the presence of a Palestinian fighter in his vicinity. After extensive lobbying from his family, a criminal investigation of the military police was launched and found that the soldiers had lied in the initial investigation.So far, says Sfard, all demands for a military police investigation into Brian's case have been dismissed.  He says by not investigating, the Israeli military is effectively granting impunity to occupation soldiers."The idea of human dignity and respect for human rights demands that any injury to human life or body by officers or state officials will be at least investigated.  Not investigating is as if saying 'we don't' give a damn about your injury'.  "A person has a right to know- if he was not armed, he was not engaged in hostilities or combat, and he was shot nonetheless, even though he was wearing a fluorescent jacket marked in three languages - he has a right to know who did it and why," said Sfard."The soldiers must be indicted and must pay for the crimes they have committed.  If as a society would let soldiers get away with such crimes, [and] we have at least 5 witnesses who all testify to that, eventually we will bring about many more causalities like that."  Reconstructive surgery.Avery was unable to seek legal recourse until late last year due to the severity of his injuries.

In the middle of a series of reconstructive surgeries, he has had to rebuild the bones with transplants, and is in the process of replacing his cheek.  He has also suffered permanent visual damage to his left eye, and cannot breathe through one side of his nose.  Avery also has difficulty talking.Avery says he would ideally like to see someone convicted for the crime that was committed, but "won't hold my breath". If nothing else, he says, his petition will bring much-needed attention to the systematic targeting of foreign activists in occupied Palestinian territories.

"The fact that they ignored our demands for investigations was disappointing but not totally unexpected given track record of Israeli justice system. Given how they treat most Palestinians, I'm pretty fortunate that I have an optimistic possibility for this process," he said.  In a seven-week period in 2003, Britons Tom Hurndall and James Miller, and American Rachel Corrie - all unarmed and clearly marked civilians, were killed by Israeli forces in the southern Gaza Strip refugee camp of Rafah.

No Muslim or Arab should be surprised at the Second Crusade because we have read of the first from accounts from our forefathers on how horrible it was and its imprinted in our minds because we are warned about these Christian Fundamentalists and Zionist Jews in the Holy Quran as well. In fact, many parts of the Holy Quran, Allah says that we SHOULD TAKE NOT CHRISTIAN (Fundamentalists) and Jews (Zionist Jews) AS FRIENDS BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR OWN INTERESTS (their aim has been to try to convert us to their Liberal Immoral way of life which is even further away from the Ten Commandments and Teachings of Jesus (AS) and Moses (AS). So, we have no excuse at all in saying that we did not know and Allah did not warn us! This new Second Crusade has three main groups in it: the Zionist Jews, Christian fundamentalists and a secret Society of FREE MASONS bent on World domination secretly while, stirring up wars (A characteristic of Dajjal or America as we were told hundreds of centuries ago). Such an alliance has begun defaming Arabs and Muslims in lying about 9/11 conspiracy to carry out such a horrible act that we do not have the technology to do and lying about weapons of mass destruction too. It involves also, the breaking of the Spirit of  Jihad-our right to self-defense which Allah has given us to survive centuries of Christian Fundamentalist-Arab Pagan aggression which sought to destroy Islam. In addition, it also involves the disabling of Arab and Muslim economies (states) by making them dependent on AMERICAN  AID via the World Bank and then blackmailing them into carrying out the American agenda of using Arab-Muslim armies to assist America in dominating the Middle East and beyond while, paving the road for a Zionist Jewish domination hand-in-hand with the fundamentalist Western Christians and last, breaking the ability of the Arabs-Muslims to reach the Arab-Muslim masses by censoring the Arab and Muslim media (except Al Jazeera and Al Manar from the Gulf States as well as from Lebanon-the only independent media for trustworthy news) while perpetuating the Jewish Zionist press in America and Europe to brainwash the American-European people. This brain washing takes the form of claiming that the victims of this Second crusade (our people) are somehow the ENEMY and they (Americans-Europeans) must support the waging of wars in peace-time against our countries, Holy places and leaders who do not agree with America, by targeting them with extra judicial assassinations which the Western alliance alone claims as its right to hunt, kill, bomb, occupy and as of late, posses weapons of mass destruction against 2 billion vulnerable Worldwide Arab-Muslim populations on this planet.

This Second Crusade, like the First Crusade, began with deception and the deception this time were of three types: first, that 9/11 was carried out by Osama bin laden (a former trained CIA operative working for the Americans fighting against the Soviets when they occupied Afghanistan in the 1980s and a base (AL Qaida) created by CIA funds) and this thus gave the Neo-Roman American Empire the RIGHT to terrorize Muslims-Arabs today. Arabs-Muslims dictatorships and despotic rulers (Kings as King Fahd of Saudi Arabia) governments (as Musharaff and Mubarak of Egypt) continuously supported by the United States. Second, this Second Crusade could not work without massive support from Christian western nations such as Britain where the First Crusade began from and Italy, Spain and Poland where the First Crusade was provided with armies sent to slaughter Arabs-Muslims by the hundreds of thousands as well documented in the book, THE CRUSADES SEEN THROUGH ARAB EYES by Maalouf. The First Crusade failed because Christian Fundamentalists could not maintain the massive military superiority over the Arabs and Muslims and it is this superiority of the Arab-Muslim armies led by a Kurdish Muslim named General Salahudeen Ayoubi, that freed us! Knowing this from History, this time around, western Fundamentalist Christian nations worked with Bush and FREE MASONS to buy into MABUSH (BUSHS) lies of  WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. This evil alliance sought to de-militarize, de-Nuclearize and devoid the huge Arab-Muslim masses of any sort of defense from the massive onslaught in the name of WAR ON TERROR (genocide) by western nations and their puppet regimes where hundreds of thousands of Arabs-Muslims again are being slaughtered as CASUALITIES OF WAR. This means that 10-15 Muslim-Arab children die every week from US bombings and raids and not a single bomb or American child is killed by any Arab or Muslim in response to this naked aggression. Third, like previous wars, assassinations preceded them but in this case, the western Christians fundamentalists-Zionist Jews sought to prevent a wide scale war which would involve their own cities (great military strategy indeed) so, instead they contained the wars by using Europe and the Arab-Muslim armies by having them tied up in searching for TERRORISTS without a definition of terrorism which allowed for wide range of hunting for opposition to American-Israeli hegemony to be implemented. The pivotal  points in understanding our contemporary state of affairs as a people are also seen in understanding the World threat which is the Neo-Roman American Empire and its relentless bombings as well as the only Nuclear Super Power to have used the Atom Bomb on innocent people whose government was seeking to give up in an honorable way since they were defeated already (Japan); two, in understanding what this Empire is all about including its way of life which mirrors the way of life of the Roman Empire-culturally, militarily, its leaders, its rampant spread of homosexuality and lesbianism, what exactly the weapons of mass destruction means for us and for Americans who have abused their power but still preach PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST while supporting Israeli terrorism and terrorizing Arab and Muslim Nations, and what is the situation with Iraq from the words of our beloved Wali in Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the successor to Ayatollah Khomeini(RA) who had given America the name GREAT SATAN which still stands. 

                With all this mischief the Neo-Roman American Empire/Europe have been deliberately doing, the end results can only be a Nuclear War which is coming soon. The biggest mistake Arab and Muslim leaders have done and a great disservice to the masses is to deny them Nuclear Missiles to defend themselves against a Christian West and a neo-Roman American bullying who knows no bounds in its persistence and relentless bombings and naked aggression for the last 100 years in Central and South America as well as the Middle East. Our failure to see beyond the security needs of our people has cost us in  hundreds of thousands of lives the US government has already taken in its wars from the 1950s when it sided with Israel and slaughtered hundreds of thousand of Egyptian Arab soldiers-well documented and  the British support by pulling out of Palestine and leaving the helpless Arabs in the hands of Europeans and American Zionist Jews. It has been the goal of this Christian-Jewish alliance to legitimatize the illegal State of Israel by black mailing certain countries as Egypt, Jordan, Afghanistan, and others to acknowledge and recognize the illegal State of Israel, whose legitimacy up till this day is still questionable just as the occupation of America up till this day is still in question by the remaining American Indians who were forced into signing treaties which were never carried out, lost their lands and dignity, as well as to be forcibly removed from their rich cultivable lands to the remote inlands and mountains of eastern America and later on to be pushed as far down to Oklahoma and out west to the bad lands to make room for its European occupiers who sought to terrorize the American Indians by killing them for sports, carrying out terrorism by spreading diseases (Germ warfare such as small pox and sexually transmitted diseases), and by literally slaughtering them and slowly killing, carrying out genocide from the TRAIL OF TEARS to WOUNDED KNEE. Today, 2004, American Children, black-brown-white-yellow-and even Red skinned are being raised by the propagandists to believe that slavery WAS AN ACCIDENT and that these lands BELONG TO WHITES BECAUSE THEY WERE BORN HERE (I was born on Planet earth, do you see me claiming the whole planet even though Allah says that He made the Universe for Muslims and while, like the beliefs of the American Indians, we are not to claim lands with flags and deny others use too of it if they are respectful, we are only the caretakers of these lands as we pass from one World to another) and that AMERICAN INDIANS WERE PRIMITIVE AND DIED OUT despite the fact that there are 2,000,000 pure bred American Indians today and hundreds of tribes left who still resist institutional racism and genocide from the European dominated superstructure in America.

               Indeed, a massive assault on these terrorists who sit in the Congress of the US will not only free the Arab-Muslim World of such terrorism but also the oppressed American Indians as well whose prophecy clearly states that the WHITEMAN(that is not every single whiteman now only those guilty of genocide and mischief in the World which means that we should avoid the company of these men) WILL BE DESTROYED BY A GREAT WIND (Nuclear?-this is not to preach Nuclear war but be realistic that it is coming just as American Indians believe and as told to us in the book Nahjul Balagha or The Peak of Eloquence) and that is yet to come. The Manifest destiny ideology of that time is comparable to the WAR ON TERROR of our time: because in both cases the oppressed people (American Indians then and Arabs-Muslims of today) were blamed for being SAVAGE (BARBARIANS was the term used in the First Crusade but in the SECOND CRUSADE they are using the term TERRORIST loosely instead) and for fighting back against their oppressors. American families were placed along side reservations where the American Indians will naturally fight back and when they did the American Army would move in to slaughter the American Indians. Today, when the Muslims and Arabs fight back against this bully Goliath and its cousin, Israel, we, Arabs and Muslims, are labeled as TERRORISTS for fighting back this onslaught of naked American Christian fundamentalist-Israeli Zionist Jewish aggression. Whereas, the American Indians scalped the Europeans and saved their women and children but were still seen as SAVAGES because they did not accept Fundamentalist Christianity where Fundamentalist Christians prayed to Jesus as a God whereas, the Great Spirit was a separate entity like Muslims believe called God for the American Indians, the supreme being who has no partner or son or daughter or son-in-law or any relations as He is neither begotten nor has He any end. American Indians were seen as the ENEMY and labeled as SAVAGES because they fought for survival; today, Muslim suicide bombers and Muslim warriors are blamed as TERRORISTS when they fight with the only means they have, their bodies, against the occupying armies of America-Israel-Europe who leave their occupied lands of America-Canada or their original lands of Russia-Europe to come terrorize the Palestinians and other Muslims. What our American Indian brothers and sisters faced from European terrorists in 1492 and still do with their descendents in the US government of today, 2004; we face today too. It is ironic that Americans like to say GOD BLESS AMERICA because God can NEVER bless a nation of killers, thieves, rapists, butchers, occupiers, liars, and fornicators-these are the characteristics of ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorra which were destroyed by God Himself, well documented in the Holy Bible.

                The contemporary state of affairs and the massive fault of that state as well as a lack of Nuclear Missile defense as a deterrent to this Neo-Roman American and European Christian-Jewish alliance are our fault and no one else.  Instead of developing Nuclear Missiles or at least inter-medium range missiles with nuclear warheads as the Pakistani Muslims have done, which has enabled their survival from the East Indian Hindu successive aggressive governments which continue to deny Kashmir its independence; many Arabs and Muslim states were busy looking to the Great Satan for peace and settlement to the Palestinian issue. It is very stupid indeed for Palestinians to be looking to America to solve their problem when America is the one going behind their backs and funding Israel militarily, economically and providing spy satellite images to track any opposition towards them militarily. It is ironic that Palestinians are so busy waiting on America to grant them a state when I have written to President Arafat so many times to suggest to my dear respectable Arab elder, brother and Muslim to seek Chinese assistance as a Nuclear Power in demanding a settlement to the Palestinian issue. The US has been delaying a PALESTINIAN STATE so that Israel can destroy, assassinate and deport all opposition to its goals of occupying all of Palestine and other Arab countries either directly or indirectly via its secret society by setting up Arab and Muslim dictatorships who are willing to sell out the Arab cause and Islam, for greed, lifetime power, American dollars and help with the extermination of all opposition to such despotic rule while prostituting the Arab Muslim lands and resources.  This Christian Fundamentalist-Zionist Jewish Alliance has been trying to break OPEC and any attempt to maintain a normal market price for oil at forty dollars a barrel instead of its current low fifteen dollars a barrel of oil. Wealthy Christian western nations are wealthy not because of the creativity of Europeans or of resources as those countries produce very little indeed (had it not been for its slave, immigrant populations working at dirt cheap wages and contributing what they should be in their home countries-this brain drain has given Europe and North America its vast wealth today in technology and advancements we see while its wealth came from stealing American Indian lands and resources and profits from slavery Sugar and coffee and cotton plantations). Without its immigrant population and for five hundred years of pilage of the developing World, they would be as poor as the developing World today. They continue to steal the remaining resources and take profits of their companies operating in the developing World and at times leaving the said country dry economically or of depleted resources and national income and then, turning around and offering loans to them to DEVELOP with massive interests so much that their Gross National Product is LOANS to pay off debts incurred by corrupt leaders they installed. The result is that ten per cent of the interest alone on loans (debts) incurred by corrupt leaders to the American-European dominated alliance organizations as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund and so on, are paid from the gross national product of these nations-in effect, they will never develop because they are funding the so-called FIRST WORLD DEVELOPMENT or FIRST WORLD WELFARE STATES!!

                There will come a time in the Arab-Muslim World when our people will stop examining the mounting evidence of this deliberate Western Christian Fundamentalist -Jewish Zionist alliance and will respond in nuclear terms to these aggressions. Our lack of possessing Weapons of Mass Destruction should never make our enemies sleep better because this is why we have our Chinese Brothers and Sisters for and why an alliance with the Chinese is inevitable! It is such prophecy that the west has studied in our Holy Books of Islam such as Nahjul Balagha (The Peak of Eloquence by Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (AS)) and this is why their strategy has been in 2003 to deny all Arabs and Muslim states the possession of Nuclear Missiles as a defense to US-Israeli aggression while the said US-Israel are allowed to keep their weapons of mass destruction intact. However, if their studies of our prophecy was truly complete you will see that the Missiles with Nuclear Warheads will not come from the Arabs and Muslims but from the far East using the Middle East as a base to attack Europe and America collectively for a poetic justice punishment you might say of what they have been doing for the last fifty odd years with Israel and for the last five hundred years when they raided China and prospered with resources and profits from Opium, spices, pearls and other precious metals from there without giving back to China a penny in return.

It is important to note that while this may seem as a religious crusade and the Europeans may seem as being the bad ones you must analyze why one race would act that way and why people of two religions would do such a thing. The fact is, the Europeans are not the only one to enslave people nor are they the only ones to raid empires.   Indeed, the forefathers of the said Arab and Muslim nations have been doing it long before Islam. The Egyptian civilization of seventy nine thousand years ago raided much of Eastern Europe and evidence of skulls of Africans found there today proves their presence as well as influences. The fact that White slavery ended in Saudi Arabia in the 1970s says a lot about the despotic Kings there and not about Islam which began with declaring that slavery was wrong and evil and all slaves should be set free whereas, Christian Arabs and Jews in Arab lands owned slaves back then as well. When the Europeans began slavery in the Caribbean and America they did not do this on their own. While a Christian Monk named BARTHOLOMEW DE LAS CASAS suggested enslaving Africans instead of the American Indians to work for free for the European elites immigrants to the American Indian lands in 1492 and afterwards. Indeed, Africans sold Africans into slavery, many Kings and Queens who were not liked because of their just rule or love by the people were stolen into slavery by use of Africans selling them to Europeans for the Middle Passage journey to the Caribbean and America. The problems with African Americans that Malcolm X rightly pointed out were of four general issues: First, they were not willing to die for their freedom so they will never be free but subservient to the European Superstructure and we see that today. Many of the soldiers dying in Iraq are African and Hispanic-African American backgrounds. Many of the apologists for the Bush administration and his war on terror are African Americans. Many of the deaths in black communities are carried out by African Americans who are in alliance with European American drug dealers and Policemen who are corrupted and in the pay of drug dealers to leave their drug pushers alone in black communities across America. However, it does not work one way alone as many white and black drug dealers also provide drugs to white communities and therein lies a struggle for greed, power and control based on economics and a class system and not merely race. In fact, we know today that it is wrong to speak in terms of a White superpower or evil white governments when most of the dictators of the World supported by America and Europe are in fact, black or colored and come from our own people. After Colonialism, Europe depended on this class of oppressors to fill the gap so that the theft that occurred for five hundred years can continue in the form of Corporate Profits via these said non-European dictators.   China was saved from much of this super-exploitation by its cultural revolution and the work of Chairman Mao Tse Tung. In fact, if Arabs and Muslims had learnt from Chairman Mao they would not be in the position that we are in today. Chairman Mao said that POWER GROWS OUT OF THE BARREL OF A GUN (also the barrel of oil too) and Shaikh Yasin said only this month, February 2004, that THE ISRAELIS (and Americans) ONLY UNDERSTAND VIOLENCE AND POWER TO SPEAK TO THEM OR NEGOTIATE FOR PEACE WITHOUT MASSIVE FORCE OR POWER BEHIND IS SENSELESS and that is why the Palestinians have failed over and over again not choosing to look at the example the HEZBOLLAH (Party of God) sets in dealing with these Israeli Zionist devils. In the book Nahjul Balagha (The Peak of Eloquence) Imam Ali (AS) said that the Arabs and Muslims will take a long time to wake up to their realities and they will do this after the rise of the anti-Christ which the west fears so much that they truly believed in invading Iraq and occupying it will somehow stop his rise. The fact is, America has played its necessary role in ushering the rise of the anti-Christ and indeed the start of its own downfall and that is Europes by not its successive wars around the World but specifically its three wars in the Middle East along with its Zionist arm-Israel.

Many intellectuals from the Arab and Non-Arab World have been getting three things wrong:  First, that Dajjal is a man or a small entity but NOT a nation compromised of interests and secret societies bent on World domination and theft of the Worlds resources for its elite classes spread across Europe and America whose powerbase lies in Washington, DC. Second, that Islam is to be blamed for the inaction of the Arab and Muslim armies as well as for the action of Arab and Muslim dictators and they sing the same song as the west about OPPRESSION OF WOMEN when western women are more oppressed than their sisters in the Middle East and beyond. Any Sociological studies on the American Society will prove that their women are treated as sex objects, deflowered by their fathers or brothers or best friends, prostituted to friends and appearances on game shows that beckons to SHOW ALL as THE REAL CANCUN MOVIE which is as shameless as Sodom and Gomorra as documented in the Holy Bible. Indeed that does not represent all of American Women but it is disgraceful, distasteful and demeaning to most American women. This questioning of Islam is part of the Second Crusade which was crystallized in the 9/11 tragedy which was designed to break the Arab-Muslim resolve to deal with the problem of the East-West hegemony of the superpowers which neither had Islams interest and wanted to destroy Islam so as to spread its own way of life which we will examine in more detail later on here what I refer to as the CULTURE OF DAJJAL. All of a sudden you have  all these pseudo-intellectuals who have never studied Islam but were raised in broken Muslim homes which were more obsessed with Hollywood and the American way of life and of course the fuel for such a way of life, greed speaking about our crises today. Case in point, the Pakistan Muslim nation has adopted Bollywood from Hollywood so as to idolize and worship this devilish American Way of life and thus, blame Islam for any drawbacks to their children or misfortunes later on in life. Third, Arab and Muslim intellectuals are so busy blaming Arab and Muslim dictators that they do not see who is behind them: the US-Israel-Europe or the Christian fundamentalist-Zionist Jewish alliance. Every dictator and despotic in the Arab and Muslim World knows that they cannot exist had it not been for American military funding designed to destroy and break the will of the resistance for justice and indeed just governments as Iran had broken such will with the help of God. Yet, today America blackmails countries to allow its Corporate contracts and profits off the oil industries and other resources of the country as the dictators and the western allies plunder the resources of the countries. The laws of justice, in the UN have only been window dressing as it serves only the goals of the Zionist Jewish-Christian alliance. In fact, the US-Israel-Europe has made it clear that to criticize the Jews even constructively is seen as ANTI-SEMITE but in their rush to play up to the tune of Hitlers extermination of six million Jews and the use of the word SEMITE they have failed to realize that Arabs are Semites and that we must question whether Hitler did in fact kill six million Jews(it is the same lie being perpetuated by the American Government about 9/11 when New York Officials place the death toll at under two thousand but many others and the American media are saying three thousand and they would not make Americans forget it, thus justifying any war against any Arab  and Muslim nations) we must understand that there were less than eight million Jews Worldwide to begin with in 1945 and they were so spread out that to kill specifically six million of them would even be impossible especially when Israel was set up out of no where came another two million of them and in addition we know that America itself has six million of them and Europe even boasts of having another few million so, we must ask ourselves did Hitler actually kill six million or was it made to look like six million so as, like 9/11 in the US in 2001, to create World sympathy for the true crime that was to follow: the genocide of the Palestinian people? In addition, how can we be anti-Semite when we are Semites ourselves has never been addressed by the American or any Jewish apologists inside or outside America?

According to Mr. J.
